Internship
Fusion Antibodies is offering students the opportunity to learn valuable biological engineering techniques during 6 month placements/internships. There are currently 2 projects suitable for internship:
Project 1: Optimisation of recombinant protein and antibody expression from E. coli and CHO cells. The student will learn cell culture techniques and fermentation for the production of recombinant protein, and chromatography techniques for purification.
Project 2: Production of monoclonal antibodies using hybridoma fusion technology. The student will learn the techniques necessary to produce monoclonal antibodies, including hybridoma fusion, limiting dilution and ELISA screening.
These internships are available from July.
